Summer Term 2023

We have planted seeds and beans and looked at mini beasts in our playground, local fields and woods. We have tasted the fruit The Very Hungry Caterpillar ate and painted symmetrical butterflies.

In the last weeks of term children have joined in retelling Goldilocks and the Three Bears. We have compared sizes, cooked bear biscuits, drawn bear faces and made bears using collage materials.

We are taking our Teddy Bears on a Teddy Bear picnic on the last Thursday of term and will sing, 'When Goldilocks went to the House of the Bears' and The Teddy Bear's Picnic' song.
